Change to the February Meeting Location

February 4th, 2012 · Uncategorized

February Meeting Location Changed
We are returning to the Chesterfield County Airport for the General Membership Meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on February 10. The meeting will take place in the banquet room there. The address is 7511 Airfield Drive, North Chesterfield, VA 23237. The airport is just a few miles from our regular Southside meeting location, the Smith-Wagner building of the Chesterfield County Government Complex.
The after-meeting social will take place at King’s Korner Restaurant, also located at the airport. This is the same restaurant we used for the January, 2012, after-meeting social. Due to the increased cost to the Club associated with hosting the after-meeting social at a restaurant, there will be an increase in the cover charge from $5 per person to $10 per person. As in the past, first time guests will not be charged.
Any questions may be directed to Paul Murman, President, or Alease Foster, Events Coordinator.
Directions: From VA-288, take the exit for Iron Bridge Rd/VA -10 W. This is the same exit you would have taken to go to the Smith-Wagner building, except from Rt. 288 you will take the exit going NORTH instead of south. After exiting from Rt. 288, at the first light (six tenths of a mile from Rt. 288), take a left turn onto Whitepine Road. Take the next right onto Airfield Drive. The airport facilities are at the end of the road.
