CORVETTE CLUB OF RICHMOND

Remember the fun and excitement of going to a drive-in theater to watch a great movie under the stars?  Well Goochland Drive-In Theater offers the chance to relive that fun and excitement with their all-new drive-in theater!  That’s why we’re putting together a Corvette Night at the Drive-In Theater on Friday, September 17.  Jeremy Welborn’s C5 is well known at the Goochland Drive-In Theater and after talking with the owner, John Heidel, about the Corvette Club of Richmond, he was thrilled about the possibility of our club coming out. So the time has come to show the Goochland Drive-In Theater what it looks like when a caravan of Corvettes shows up!  Here’s the plan: We will meet at the rest stop on I-64 at mile 168 at 5:45 p.m. and will depart at 6:00 p.m.  The drive-in is about 15 miles down I-64 just off Exit 152.  General admission is $7 for everyone age 12 and up.  This covers a double feature of two newly released movies!  The concession stand serves everything from hamburgers to nachos to popcorn to snow cones and nothing costs more than $3.50.  We’ll park in a reserved section together and enjoy food and fellowship together until the movies begin at sun-set, around 7:30 p.m.  Feel free to stay for one or both movies (exact movies will be known 1-2 weeks prior to that weekend).  Please sign up by the September 10 club meeting so we’ll know how many spaces to ask them to reserve.  In the event of rain or the possibility of rain, please include your mobile number so we can contact you regarding any change of plans.  If rain causes us to reschedule, we will try again the next day (Saturday, September 18).
