CORVETTE CLUB OF RICHMOND

THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR:

I received a telephone call this morning from Richmond International Raceway asking if the Corvette Club of Richmond could supply 33 convertible Corvettes for the Driver Introduction Parade Lap at the September 11, 2010 NASCAR race.

The race sponsor is the AIR GUARD 400 and it is a military themed event, given the date of 9/11, and it is the last chance to make the Chase for the Sprint Cup.  We will get a lot of exposure to the general public again.

The format for CCR members will be the same as the Spring 2010 race; Car Corral on the midway, access to the event building to get out of the elements, grandstand tickets to the race for driver and passenger.  Due to time constraints, no practice scheduled.

Prior to committing the Club, I need to know if there is enough interest from membership to answer positively to RIR.  This is crunch time, so I need a quick response. Sign up below  by Sunday August 22 @ 5:00PM. Or, call me with questions at my number listed in the membership directory.
