CORVETTE CLUB OF RICHMOND

The Corvette Club of Richmond held their August General Meeting at the United Methodist Center in the West End of Richmond.

President Rob Bickert called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM

RECORDING SECRETARY:  Peggy read the minutes from the July 2010 General Membership Meeting.  The minutes  were approved as read with no corrections.

TREASURER:  Mike reported on the financial activity and state of the club.  The Treasurer’s report was approved as read.

CORRESPONDING SECRETARY:  President Bickert reported for Phyllis that a card was sent to the Barbours.

NEWSLETTER:  Sue Ann reported that there we 21 newsletters sent out, including 10 to sponsors and 1 to Rocky Sink and Roger and Judy Abshire.  Sue Ann also announced the new rosters will be available in October; members with any changes should contact her with the changes.

WEBMASTER:  Mann requested the membership send him any comments concerning the website.

HISTORIAN:  Dave reported he is starting a mini CCR library, anyone interested in checking-out a book or donating any books is asked to please contact him.

EVENTS:  Bob reported on the upcoming August, September and  October events.

VISITORS:  Earl welcomed the following visitors:  Lee Isdale, Chris Clark, Lowell Thornton, Tim McCabe, Clara Epperly, John & Suzanne Byers and Terry & Carol Isgett.  There were no member inductions at this meeting.

SPONSOR NEWS:  There was no sponsor news to report.

APPAREL:  Lori reported she still has t-shirts for sale.  Linda reported that the visors are in and she is still taking orders for club shirts and jackets.

Bob Brody announced that a November after meeting party host is needed.

President Bickert announced the names of the nominating committee:  Jeremy Welborn, Chairman; Barry Waller and Jill Nalbach.
