CCR 13th Annual Bunny Run
On Saturday April 4, 2009, come join the long line of Corvettes for this great cause for the Children’s Hospital of Richmond. Fire up your Corvette, bring along a stuffed bunny (or as many bunnies as you like to give to the children at the hospital.) Last year 1,974 Bunnies made their way into the arms of many “hoppy” snuggles of the children!
The event is an open invitation to all Corvette owners to participate. All Vettes are to meet at Smith Turf & Irrigation 12:15 pm sharp, don’t be late for this very important date! At 12:45 we leave for the Children’s Hospital. The long line of Vettes will be a beautiful site when we arrive we will parade by and unload the bunnies at a moderate pace, then visit with the patients & staff for cake and punch. About 2PM or so, we will say good-bye and head out to enjoy lunch. Non- Club members are welcome to lunch to get to meet Club members, who knows maybe you’ll join the Club.
Pre Registration is not mandatory, but welcomed for this event. If you are unable to attend but have bunnies please bring them to the February or March meetings and give to Cecile & Ed Custer.
The club would like to say Thanks in advance for participating in this rewarding event. The smile on the children’s faces when they see all the Vettes and receive a new plush rabbit, will insure that you will make this event a regular habit. Hoppy Bunny Hunting!
