Scottsville Tubing Trip

We have done this event for several years and I’m GUARANTEEING that if you go with us, you’ll have so much fun you’ll wish the event were LONGER!
Wear your bathing suit and a maybe pair of shorts (women). The tube rental place requires us to wear water shoes or old tennis shoes (no flip flops or sandals) in the river. Bring your sun block, dry change of clothes and towel. Pack a picnic lunch and your favorite beverage (no glass allowed) in a cooler. We float down river about 3 hours.
The water is not deep and there are no rapids to fear. This event is open to everyone, so if you have friends who are interested, please invite them.
We meet at 9 a.m. at the rest area on I-64 West just outside of Richmond (just like last year) and depart at 9:15. It’s about an hour drive and we’ll make one stop along the way. Tube cost is $20 per person and $8 for your cooler tube. Pay me at the June meeting or send me your check (payable to me) as I must mail our money in prior to our trip.
