I have changed the way the CCR website looks in response to some members having problems with our website. I am looking into the problem. I know that the problem has to do with Microsoft Internet Explorer (I’m not sure if it is due to version Six or Seven, or both) and certain hardware configurations. A small but growing number of members and visitors have been seeing a white screen when they came to our website.
Downloading the Firefox web browser has worked with every person that had the problem with our website. You can download Firefox from here. GetFirefox.com This web browser is much faster, more secure and doesn’t crash on websites like ours. You can also import all of your bookmarks easily. I use it and love it.
I haven’t changed the coding to our website since I started this new direction for our website. I am pretty certain it is due to a compatibility problem with Internet Explorer. I will be updating our website this weekend, there might be a little bit of downtime as the files are being modified.
It is VERY important that people who could not view the website to contact me (send me an email or a phone call) telling me that you are able to view the website with this new look. I have not had this problem that some of y’all had. I cannot debug what I cannot see.
I hope that I can bring our website back to the previous style, or I will modify this current style to fit our website’s theme.
