It is five megabytes in size so it might take a few minutes if you are running slow dial-up internet.

June Newsletter is up, Roundup photos upcoming.

The June 2007 Newsletter is up with a Hi-Fi version for people with DSL, and Cable internet. This newsletter version is 6 megabytes and might take a few seconds to download.
There is also a Low-Fi version for people who are still using dial-up internet. I weep for you because this newsletter is four megabytes and will take a good amount of time to download. I did just about all I could to make the file size smaller.

I hope everyone enjoyed the 11th Annual CCR Roundup. I was quite late to the event, but there were many more Corvettes than I was expecting. I have photos from Terry Corbin that will be up soon and some photos from Norman Burkhart that I will get at the upcoming meeting on June 8th at our Southside location at the Chesterfield County Gov’t Center.

If you have photos for me, please send them to Webmaster AT CorvetteClubofRichmond DOT com, please put the phrase “Roundup photos” or “CCR” in your subject so I will see it, and not mark it as spam.

6th Annual Vettes at Waterside

Here’s the official registration form for the 6th Annual Vettes at Waterside to be held on March 24, 2007. Hurry and signup, only 125 cars accepted.

Waterside Flier in PDF format

- It is a PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY event
- Print the flyer above and mail a check to the address indicated.

- You’ll be mailed back a Dash Sheet that must be displayed the day of the show to participate.
- ONLY 125 Corvettes are allowed on the Waterside property so first paid first served. I’ll up date this post weekly with the totals and cut off registration when full.
- Rick is working with Hooters and the Portsmouth Holiday Inn so we should have the patio at Hoooters and a place for out of towners to stay with covered and guarded Vette Parking as well as a hospitality room.
- We are tying up the final details with the City of Norfolk so if a glitch develops causing us to cancel all funds will be returned in full.
- It is a RAIN or SHINE event no refunds for rain, sorry.
- Parking is first arrive first parked, no saving spaces etc, city parking requirements make that impossible, so if you want to park together arrive together.

More up to date information is here: Corvette Forum - “Official” 6th Annual Vettes at Waterside Post
