On July 28-29, 2007 the Mid-Atlantic VETTEFEST will be held at Virginia Motorsports Park, hosted by the Corvette Club of Richmond (www.corvetteclubofrichmond.com).

Virginia Motorsports Park, (www.virginiamotorsportspk.com) located in Central Virginia just 30 minutes south of Richmond in Dinwiddie County, is home to the Torco Racing Fuels NHRA Nationals held in October. This multi-purpose facility encompasses over 700 acres including a 70 acre lake, a three-story VIP hospitality tower, and modern state of the art media facilities. There is spectator seating for 23,000 on the quarter mile drag strip.

Virginia Motorsports Park has easy access from I-85 just off the I-95 corridor, has RV parking for up to 130 motor homes, and plenty of paved parking for Corvette enthusiasts. The two-day Mid-Atlantic VETTEFEST will feature a Corvette “show-n-shine” car show, Corvette vendor midway, all Corvette drag racing action, fun runs on the quarter mile drag strip, Corvette Club drag racing competition, swap meet, and car corral. The event will include social gatherings for participants to meet and greet their Corvette friends from up and down the East Coast. The drag racing action will feature “street legal” and “open class” Vettes against similar classed cars. There will be $$ payout / trophy for class winners and runner-up for this fast paced action. During Club Competition, presidents attending from their respective club will choose team members to compete against other clubs for the President’s Trophy. This should really bring out the competitive spirit and “hot shoe” from the clubs.

Registration forms will be available day of the event at the event on July 28th.
